The Italian Ombudsperson for Children and Adolescents (Agia) has launched an online public consultation on war and conflicts to understand how adolescents perceive these phenomena, how they obtain information, and the emotions they evoke in their lives. The questionnaire, aimed at young people aged 14 to 18, also explores their relationship with violence, fear, responsibility, and conflict management in daily life (family, school, and online).

Significant attention is given to information about ongoing wars, including where and how young people seek news, and to opportunities for contributing to peacebuilding. The consultation, carried out with the support of Agia’s Council of the Adolescents, is available on the platform iopartecipo.garanteinfanzia.org and will remain open until 19 December 2025.
