The data of the Social Research Paper no. 66, dedicated to the analysis of minors and young people outside the family, have been published. The book, promoted by the Department for Family Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, offers an up-to-date snapshot of reception outside the families of origin, with particular focus on fostering, community placements and transition towards autonomy.
The results highlight trends, profiles and characteristics of the children, adolescents and young people involved in these pathways, with analyses of the services, resources and needs observed during the period under consideration. The publication is a useful tool for guiding social service policies, interventions and planning, with the aim of improving the care and growth pathways of young people outside their families.
