Athletes of Art - Sport, Art, Culture & Fashion in Motion is an international cultural and educational project promoted by Terre des Hommes and Vitaworld in conjunction with the Winter Olympics and the 2026 Milan-Cortina Paralympics, with the aim of disseminating the Olympic values of peace, inclusion, resilience and solidarity.
The project involves Italian and Ukrainian artists, schools, students, families and local communities in a series of initiatives linking art, fashion and sport to raise awareness of fundamental values such as equality, respect and the culture of peace. These include a cycle of contemporary art exhibitions dedicated to the body in motion and the Olympic and Paralympic spirit, an international fashion competition and show (PRORYV – Fashion for Freedom and Peace) for young designers, fashion schools and artists, and training workshops for students, teachers and young creatives.
The programme also includes Women's Voices on the Notes of Peace, a solidarity concert focusing on the female voice as a tool for dialogue, healing and hope, involving vocal ensembles, children's choirs and international female artists, as well as reflection meetings on sport and inclusion and on the role of art as a tool for education and intercultural dialogue.
