On 26 and 27 June, the General Assembly organised by the European Commission to launch the EU Children's Participation Platform, a platform bringing together children and adolescents from all over Europe, took place in Brussels.
The event was attended by a delegation of four members of the Council of young people from the Italian Ombudsperson for children (AGIA), a consultation and participation body formed by a group of young people aged between 13 and 17.
The young people of the Council discussed with adults, but mainly among themselves, the rights of children and adolescents, and expanded their knowledge of the European Union and other topics.
