The Agenda for Children and Adolescents. 10 steps to make a practical commitment to the new generations is online on the website of the CRC Group (Working Group for the Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents). "The document highlights the need and urgency to implement some important measures, which the Network monitors carefully through its CRC Reports and which it hopes can fully enter the political agenda of the new Government, which calls for the implementation of effective policies, based on shared values of childhood and adolescence, so that all children growing up in our country have the same educational opportunities".
The Agenda, based on the analysis contained in the 12th Update Report on the monitoring of the Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Italy carried out by the CRC Group, identifies three phenomena that require immediate attention - child poverty, environment and climate change, birth rate and support for parenthood - and proposes some actions to be carried out immediately to reverse the current course.
The Agenda is available on the dedicated page.
