The Ministry of Education and Merit (MiM) and the SOS Il Telefono Azzurro Foundation ETS have signed a three-year Protocol of Understanding to promote training and awareness-raising initiatives aimed at children and adolescents, with a focus on prevention and early management of youth distress.
The agreement stems from the shared objective of strengthening the skills, knowledge and educational tools of teachers, students and families, fostering a protective and inclusive school and relational environment.
Under the Memorandum, MiM undertakes to communicate the contents of the Protocol to all educational institutions, provincial student councils, the Forum of Student Associations and the National Forum of School Parents Associations, and to promote the dissemination and visibility of shared initiatives.
The SOS Il Telefono Azzurro Foundation will collaborate with educational, research and innovation organisations to develop innovative training methodologies, monitor the effects of good practices and promote the safe use of digital technologies, enhancing the educational role of schools and families, with interventions on issues such as bullying, online safety and prevention of child abuse and maltreatment.
