The Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM) and the Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI) have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding to launch initiatives aimed at promoting greater awareness in schools of the importance of understanding and safeguarding Italy’s historical, artistic, and landscape heritage.
The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties to achieve several objectives, including: raising awareness among teachers and students about the importance of Italy’s historical, artistic, and landscape heritage; promoting training opportunities on protecting the cultural and environmental heritage; and increasing young people’s awareness of sustainability issues, particularly with regard to landscape conservation.
