Connected Generation 2010: Social Media & Work with Young People

This one day conference provides an opportunity for managers, practitioners, volunteers and educators in the youth sector to:

• Get an overview of how digital technologies are impacting upon young people's lives; 
• Explore ways to support young people to navigate the digital world; 
• Learn about different ways to use digital and online tools as part of their work with young people;
• Network with other practitioners, and address the issues that matter to you through open space discussions.

Following on from two unConference events organised by Youth Work Online, Connected Generation 2010 combines expert input with open space discussions. The May 7th conference will explore the future of work with young people in a digital age - identifying challenges, opportunities and practical learning for organisations that work with young people.
